Liu Jiayu Wins Women’s Pipe Finals at Dew Tour 2015

In conditions better suited for a pow day than a pipe contest, Liu Jiayu rose above the odds and stomped her way to first place in Women's Pipe Finals at the Dew Tour in Breckenridge, CO. The 23-year-old’s winning run consisted of a frontside 900 on her first hit, then went front 9 to backside 540, frontside 720, cab 720, air-to-fakie into a switch frontside air. This winning combo earned the top score of 91.00.

 Chloe Kim was also on fire today, despite the snowy conditions and snagged second place with her run that included a backside air, backside 540, mctwist, frontside 720 and a cab 720 which earned  an 89.60.


Kelly Clark seemingly had a few issues with speed, but managed to land a solid run that included a frontside air, backside 540, frontside 720, cab 720, frontside air, backside air to an inverted 720. This scored an 84.40 and landed her in third place.
