The Future of Yesterday

It's worth noting that the cast of snowboard films is often dictated more by politics than genuine relationships. The Future Of Yesterday's is not. This is a crew of actual friends, who just happen to be some of the best snowboarders in the world. Long before they coined themselves the Cozy Bois–that happened this season–they were collectively sharing their contest winnings in the name of a good time. The crew's mentality is centered on helping each other get tricks, and when that number totals ten, it enables Halldor's Blackout Rule.

Focused on doing what they want with who they want more than schedules or deadlines, the Cozy Bois have created a raucous film reminiscent of the days when there were less rules imposed on snowboarding. This past season the crew traveled to Japan, then Italy, survived the European RV Tour of Depression, then sent it to Laax, before wrapping things up in Oregon.

Riders:

Featuring: Halldor Helgason, Tor Lundstrom, Kevin Backstrom, Ulrik Badertscher, Ethan Morgan, Eiki Helgason, and Max Buri.

Premieres:

The world premiere of The Future of Yesterday will take place as part of the film’s European tour, and will be held in Oslo, NO on September 28th. The European premiere tour will continue to Gothenburg on 9/29, Monaco on 10/3, London on 10/4, Innsbruck on 10/5, Annecy on 10/6, and Budapest on 10/8. In addition to the European premiere tour, The Future of Yesterday will be premiered as part of our Cold Front Tour. Pray for Snow

It's no secret that the crew at 10 Barrel Brewing loves Winter, and everything that comes with it–particularly their long-standing Winter Ale aptly named, Pray For Snow. That's why this year, they sought out a new way to share the Winter stoke with their fans. And the only logical first step was to spend all of last season with their team athletes waste deep in powder and goggle tanned on spring days. Their end Result? Pray For Snow: The Movie. So, while we all patiently pray for snow over the next few months, make sure to get stoked for the coming season and check out Ben Ferguson, Eric Jackson, Curtis Ciszek, and Lucas Wachs send it in this full-length film.

LowPressure

Oregrown in association with Pete Alport is proud to present LowPressure an all Oregon backcountry snowboard film. Presented with an abundant and unlimited supply of untapped locations, the LowPressure crew set its sites on taking both unknown riders as well as household names to explore non-chairlift accessed volcanoes, burned forests, mountain ranges, and other unique landscapes only found in Oregon. For an entire season, the crew learned what it takes to dedicate an entire season towards a unique project, ride first descents, juggling full-time jobs and battling a ten-week drought that ended with a ten-week storm cycle. Pushing themselves beyond previous experiences, they split boarded hundreds of miles, earned more sunrises than they thought possible and produced incredible footage. LowPressure is the first all Oregon backcountry snowboard film

Premieres:

The world premiere of Low Pressure will take place September, 27th at the Tower Theatre in Bend, OR. You can find more information on premiere dates and tickets, here.
