The TransWorld SNOWboarding TransAM at Granite Peak, WI this past weekend saw over 50 mid-west riders throw down on an unusually warm and slightly overcast winter Wausau day.  A big thanks to Troy Knox and the Granite Peak park crew for their hard work putting together a solid set-up for the inaugural TransAM at Granite Peak.

Congratulations to the top three guys and gals who qualified for the Transworld SNOWboarding TransAM Finals at Bear Mountain, CA on March 14, 2015.  1st placers Olivia Hetzel & Mitch Holtz walked away with flight vouchers to Finals courtesy of Zumiez, VIP treatment for the finals weekend on behalf of Transworld SNOWboarding, and snowboards from RIDE.  There was also the coveted TransAm trophy in the form of a custom engraved acoustic guitar!

All winners were loaded up with tons of awesome product including custom High Cascade backpacks, Anon goggles, Analog outerwear, Giro helmets, and Zumiez gift cards.

$500 cold hard Zumiez cash for the Zumiez Best Trick Award went to Jake Halverson for his front 180 tailpress to hardway 360 out on the HCSC waterfall rail.

Special thanks to Granite Peak and the TransAm sponsors for making the third stop of the TransAM another one for the history books:  RIDE Snowboards, Zumiez, Anon Optics, Analog, High Cascade Snowboard Camp, and Giro.
