Sport Science & RipXX: What Does It Take To Triple Cork?

SPRING HILL, Tenn. – Jan. 31, 2011- Winter X 15 is officially over, but that doesn’t mean the fun has ended. Check out X Games big air bronze winner, Sage Kotsenburg getting wired up like “bionic man” and using Ripxx to see what it takes to pull of a triple cork in competition.

The Ripxx Sports Performance Measurement Device is a tool used to record athletes’ movements and stats so that they can train better and improve. “It is a great product,” said Annie Tang, ESPN’s Sport Science Producer. “We got height, distance, velocity, air time, and angular velocity from the Ripxx.”
