Scott Stevens’ Full Part From Defenders Of Awesome 2: Stay Bad Ass By Capita
Not a lot has to be written about Scott Stevens. He has already made a name for himself over the years from his creative tricks and positive outlook at snowboarding. Scott battled some injuries this year and was still able to put together a full part for Defenders Of Awesome 2: Stay Bad Ass By Capita.
Interview with Scott Stevens below.
Who did you have the best session with this year?
Everyone on the team that I rode with. There all awesome people and insane snowboarders! I can’t pick just one trip. But I really feel like riding with Johnny oc and Gerard get me excited to step my riding up . I would love to ride with kazu! His style is inspiring
What was the hardest trick to land in this video part?
For me it was the finger flip air. I tried it one day going about 30 ft. And seriously I tried it like 50 times. Went back the next day and made a 15 foot jump and landed it in 10 tries or so. It felt great but the bigger air the previous day would have made it more impressive and more of what I envisioned.
Where did you go on your favorite trip this year?
I’d say just being in SLC and filming late season is always my favorite. I have my dogs my friends and ideas.
When did you feel on top of the world this year?
It was weird I started filming in February because of a knee injury so honestly I never got that feeling this year. It was a lot of playing catch up and playing zone defense.
When did you feel like you wanted to give up?
Recently is the first times I’ve questioned myself.
How many flights did you miss?
Zero I like to be at the airport light years before my flight. I get insane anxiety.
Why do you love snowboarding?
It’s everything to me . I love it so much that sometimes I get scared of ruining what I love about it.
What’s next for you?
Hopefully either evolve or get out.
