The 2013 Volcom Peanut Butter and Rail Jam finals at Mammoth Mountain marked the 10-year anniversary of the esteemed event. Warm, clear skies greeted all the boarders, venturing from all over to compete in finals—Minnesota, Colorado, Cali, New Hampshire, Utah, Ontario, to name a few. Minnesota was in the house, for sure, nearly sweeping the Men’s Open Division were it not for the riding of Vermont native Sawyer Deen, who took first. Those folks sure know how to board rails in MN, but so do they in VT. The setup at Mammoth was insane—each feature was a concept of a Volcom pro— and the riding was all you could ever want at a rail jam. Riders just stepping up left and right. Congratulations to everyone involved for putting on such a sick event for up and coming snowboarders, and here’s to 10 more years of PBRJ.

Tahoe via Vermont transplant Sawyer Deen took first at this year’s Volcom PBRJ finals at Mammoth, preventing a Minnesota sweep of the top 5 in the Men’s Open Division.
