The Grab:
Rear arm wraps around the outside of the knee, grabs toe edge in between the bindings, with knees tucked.

The Tweak:
Point the nose of your board south, and crank that grab back behind you.

Performed By: Jared Elston

The History:
The tuck knee comes directly from skateboarding. Skate pioneer, Tony Alva's iconic 1977 frontside airs were done with his knee fairly tucked up, and from this seed grew many versions of the tuck knee. The tweak was quickly pushed to its physical limits and inserted into hand plants, vert airs, and performed off driveway launch ramps the world over. Snowboarders have been enjoying this flexible freestyle fun since the 80's.
