Last week, video surfaced from Shaun White’s crash in October of 2017 in New Zealand while training for the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. As for the fall, Shaun told Yahoo Sports that the crash, resulting in 62 stitches scared him. “I have never really had that much blood coming out of me before,” said White in the video.

Shaun has since competed in the Copper stop of the U.S. Grand Prix where he placed third and the Winter Dew Tour where he did not qualify for finals. White now looks to ride in the U.S. Grand Prix in Aspen Snowmass this upcoming weekend and place on the podium for a strong finish heading into the final stop of the U.S. olympic team race at Mammoth Mountain.
