To date 12 TTR Pro Series competitors, having secured top podium results during the season, will advance via the TTR ‘Ticket’ system to this seasons finale’ event ‘The Arctic Challenge.’

With a further four Qualifying Events and three Pro Series Events, taking place in Europe and North America, during the next four weeks, the five remaining TTR Pro Series ‘Tickets’ available will be fiercely contested.

Furthermore, the remaining four TTR Qualifier Events will play a major role in opening up doors to unseeded competitors in their bid to advance into one of the five TTR Pro Series events remaining.

Next TTR Qualifying Event: A TTR Qualifying Event in Val d’Isere, France (28-3 March, 2005), the ‘XBOX Big Day Out,’ which will be supplying one ‘Ticket’ to the Pro Series Event in March, ‘The Battle’ presented by Rip Curl and to be held in Falun, Sweden ( With a combined Slopestyle and Bigair course on offer, over 20,000 spectators expected during the course of the event and 20,000 Euro prize money up for grabs, riders from all over Europe will be converging to compete for both the event title and the TTR ‘Ticket’ into the Pro Series event.

Twelve invited, world class, competitors will be competing against another twelve riders who will earn their spot in the finals via the events open qualification system during the four day festival.

The next TTR Pro Series event: A TTR Pro Series Event in Les Deux Alpes, France (1-5 March, 2005), the ‘BILLABONG World Junior Pro,’ which will be supplying the winner his lucky 13th ‘Ticket’ to the season finale’, ‘The Arctic Challenge.’ A coveted platform for young aspiring riders, the ‘BILLABONG World Junior Pro’ is a stepping stone for any young Freestyle Snowboarder to gauge himself against peers, progress into Pro ranks and establish a Professional Snowboarding career for himself.

The competition, with 25,000 Euro up for grabs, consists of both Slopestyle and Halfpipe terrain. The course is designed to link into one long and challenging Super Slopestyle. With an International judging panel split into two groups overseeing the entire course, riders technical performance, creativity, execution and amplitude are judged during the ‘jam session’ heats format.

The event is accessed via its own qualification tour, the ‘VZ Trials’ and other ‘Billabong Junior Pro’ events worldwide. Among the 36 competitors starting including 12 invited riders, 14 riders qualified through the VZ Trials and 10 riders qualified through the ‘Billabong Junior Pro’ events which makes this an amazing event.

Respecting a riders contribution to sport and brotherhood, homage will paid to a fondly remembered rider who recently passed away. The “Tristan Picot Memorial” trophy will be awarded to the most promising competitor of the event. An honorable acknowledgement in memory of Tristan.
