Is snowboarding ready for the Olympics? I hope so. I think the prospect of going to the Olympics will bring the level of the sport up a lot. When it does roll around, I think people will step up and make a good showing, and at least have a lot of fun.

If you didn’t snowboard what would you be doing right now? Making films, going to school, and enjoying life.

What do you do when you’re not snowboarding? Go fishing, work on my house, mountain bike.

Who most influences your style? Derek Heidt, Terje, Daniel Franck. Windell pumps me up.

Who do you ride with the most? My boys from Jackson. Dan Adams, Arden Oksanen, Damien, and Lance Pitman, Brandon Murphy. Boys from the tour: Ross Powers, Dustin, and Dan Smith.

If you were going on a trip and could only take five things with you (other than a change of clothes and your snowboard) what would those things be? Sleeping bag, change for pinball, a good book, my journal, and a camera
