Marc-Andre Tarte Takes 3rd At Telus Slope Style

The Tarte threw down huge air and technical tricks like a corked backside7 nosegrab. This combination landed Marc-Andre Tarte a solid 3rd place victory.

As always, Marc entertained the crowd with his impressive vocal cords and dance moves, and showed the crowd a great time. Not only was Marc there representing for Westbeach, but four of our other Team Riders made it into the Telus Slope Style Finals. Shout outs and thanks go to Matt Belzile, Jeff Pepperdine, Max Henault, and Jonny “Fatz Conway! All were riding solid in the Telus Slope Style. Westbeach congratulates these riders on their awe-some performance!

Also out at the contest were the Westbeach park rails. These rails were hand painted by graph Artist Clayton Needham “aka: Mantis. They looked awesome in the slope style course, thanks to Whistler Blackcomb for including our rider de-signed rails!!

The Telus Invitational Slope Style was a good time! The weather could not have been better and the course was technical and diverse for the riders. Thanks to W1 and all event staff who helped put together the Telus Slope Style, Superpipe and all other events surrounding the competition, they were great and well organized! The team had a great time!

Hope everyone is enjoying the last days of the season!
