With Canada’s largest and most diverse park, Whistler, BC is a destination mountain for powder hounds, no doubt, but there is definitely no deficiency in their park offering as they landed #1 best park in the Northwest and #5 in North America. 24,000+ hours are spent each season grooming the terrain parks and each individual park gets groomed twice every 24 hours. The mountain provides beginner zones like The Schoolyard, a family certified zone in the learning area of the mountain, Big Easy Terrain Garden, and Habitat Terrain Parks, which has a beginner section with small to medium features and an advanced section. Both parks include features that are inspired by nature with tree jibs, bonks and rails. Blackcomb has an 18-foot halfpipe placed at the bottom of the park and is just an eight minute migration from Whistler via gondola. Work your way up to the main park running 3,480 feet in length and you're just a stepping stone away from the Highest Level Park, which requires a helmet and is a popular area for Olympic training grounds. Including the street-style rails and hips of the Nintendo Terrain Park, the whole setup spans nearly the entire length of the Catskinner chair.
