Zaugg America To Feature Two Vehicles At The 2004 X-Games

Buttermilk Resort, CO — January, 2004 — From January 24th through the 27th, PBL Enterprises, Inc., the distributor of Zaugg America, will have the Pipe Monster and Snow Beast designing the Superpipe and Snowskate Park. PBL Enterprises looks forward to showcasing the Snow Beast for the first time with Andy Wolf from Premier Snow Skates. Andy will be designing the course for the first ever snowskate contest at the X-Games with the Snow Beast X-Designer. Look for some of the latest snowskate park features to be highlighted in Andy’s course.

“I am very excited to be working with Zaugg to build the best snowskate park yet for the 2004 Winter X-Games in Aspen Colorado. Zaugg will be demoing their new Snow Beast designed specifically for snowskate and tubing parks. The addition of the Snow Beast will help us to create and maintain the most realistic and fun snowskate park built to date,” Andy Wolf – Premier Snow Skates.

PBL will have a strong presence at the 2004 X-Games with their major goal being to document the construction of competition courses with photography and video. In late May, 2004, PBL will offer a chance for resorts that are interested in purchasing the Snow Beast or Pipe Monster / Pipe Designer to request two complimentary interactive DVDs.

Additional footage will be shot at other major Superpipe contests, the US Open of Snow Skating, Lake Tahoe, Wyoming, Oregon, and the Zaugg America East Coast Demo Tour.

The Pipe Monster has been designing some the top snowboard competition Superpipes for the past three years from the X-Games to the US Open. And for the first time this year the Pipe Monster will design the Nippon Open’s Superpipe by Pat Melondoski (on an Ohara Snowcat).

The Snow Beast is being featured for the first time this year designing snowskate parks at the US Open of Snowskating, the East Coast Demo Tour, US Open of Snowboarding and snow tubing parks throughout North America.

Many thanks go out to Andy Wolf, ESPN, Aspen Resorts, Paul & Beverly Leck, and Matthew Murray for setting up the X-Games to use and promotional work with these two pieces of machinery from Zaugg. To find out more about Zaugg America along with the latest videos, photos, links, and articles – visit
