2014 Your Turn Photo Contest: Portfolio Battle Winner Announced

Your Turn Photo Contest: Portfolio Winner Announced

The portfolio images were reviewed and the TWSNOW.com comments tallied to find out this year’s Your Turn Photo Contest Reader’s Choice and Grand Prize winners. In the end only one can win the privilege to attend HCSC‘s Photo Workshop this summer. Details in the portfolios like image impression, diversity, and consistency are what it came down to in picking who our next Your Turn Photo Contest winner would be.

We are proud to announce that Ryan Bregante has won the Grand Prize, a spot in the week long photo workshop at High Cascade with lead instructor and TWSNOW Senior Photographer Andy Wright! Congratulations Ryan! Enjoy the week at Mt. Hood!

And one more time in reflection of the three finalists here are Phil Eisenberg, Kyle Gibson, and Ryan Bregante’s portfolio presentations. Check out the portfolios below.

Porfolio I: Ryan Bregante

Porfolio II: Kyle Gibson

Porfolio III: Phil Eisenberg

The Your Turn Photo Contest gives an opportunity for new photographers to share their best images on TWSNOW.com, gaining their first editorial exposure, and to win prizes.  This year, we've presented a series of four themed photo contests, each one having a prize package of a F-StopCeltek gloves, and radio slaves from Pocket Wizard. At the end of the themed contest, the winner of each will present a collection of their favorite images for a portfolio battle. The grand-prize winner of the battle will receive food, lodging, and a spot in the High Cascade's Photo Workshop, headed by TransWorld senior photographer Andy Wright. A very exclusive opportunity!
