Tiny Type (3/27/07)

Recent US Open pipe champion, Shaun White is now being referred to as “The Animal, and will no longer respond to “Flying Tomato; we also hear Shaun just dropped in on a Lambo’ that he’ll be parking in the driveway of his Southern California mansion. Oh, and we heard The Animal is building a large-scale indoor snowboarding facility in LA.

It’s been going around that SLC’s, Justin Bennee is riding for Holden, but that is far from the truth as Bennee recently signed with Nike for boots and outerwear, as did Crowley Lake CA’s, Eric Jackson, that gear should be dropping in the winter of 08/09. Desiree Melancon is running Holden ‘fits these days, and Kjersti Buaas is on Rossignol. Neff is upping their hat game, and investing in a new Ventura, California based warehouse.

Mammoth shredder, Peter Benchetler took a spill hard enough while filming with Autumn Line up in interior B.C. that he bruised the back of his eyes—pretty crazy. In other injury news, Rossignol rider and one of our favorite dudes, Wyatt Caldwell is recovering from 40 stitches to his head after rag-dolling and hitting a rock.

South Lake Tahoe’s Jamie Anderson is now officially sipping Vitamin Water; we like 50 Cent’s, Formula 50 flavor the best ’cause that shit is mad hard and delicious. Bear Loc’ Chris Bradshaw has been snowboarding for about 70 days straight, and is now on a strict burger diet since picking up his latest and tastiest sponsor, Bear City’s, Get the Burger.

And wrapping things up, Hekki Sorsa and Eero Ettala are still super sick. We saw them at Bear throwing snowballs and doing nasty switch back sevens over the four corner transfer jump at Bear.
