Park City, Utah -- Tim Hagan has been promoted to Vice President Mountain Operations at The Canyons Resort. Hagan has been Director of Ski Patrol for the past several years at The Canyons, and will now oversee all mountain operation departments including Lift Operations, Lift Maintenance, Vehicle Maintenance, Grooming, Trails, Snowmaking and Ski Patrol. “Tim’s vast knowledge of The Canyons Resort and the ski industry has always been a major asset to this resort, making this promotion a natural fit and progression,” said acting President of The Canyons, Scott Pierpont.
Tim Vetters has been hired to fill the newly-created position of Vice President of Community Affairs at The Canyons Resort. Vetters has extensive experience within the ski industry as well as with American Skiing Company through his past work with Olympic and World Cup athletes. Vetters will be responsible for fostering relationships and communicating with adjacent landowners and business partners at The Canyons Resort. “Tim is an intelligent, good-natured Park City professional with years of experience in the industry,” said Pierpont. “We are happy to add him to our team here at The Canyons.” Vetters is a 12-year Park City resident, and has represented numerous Olympic and World Cup athletes.
