Split Hires Two New Managers

Huntington Beach, CA — Split, the Southern California-based board-sportclothing company announced the additions of Christina Smith and RonnyNelson to the growing Split family. Smith joins the team in the newlycreated position of Sales Manager for the Split Girl line and Nelson hasbeen appointed Team and Promotions Manager for all sports.

Smith came to Split from Rusty where she held the position of sales repfor Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Prior to Rusty she worked as amanager and buyer for a chain of leading surf/skate/snow retail shops.At Split, her responsibilities will include overseeing the growth anddirection of the Split girlís line.

“Christina is an amazing asset to this company,” says Joe Seemayer,Director of Sales at Split. “She has the ability and drive to reallyblow-up our girlís collection.”

Nelson came to Split from Globe where he served as Surf Team Manager.Prior to Globe, he worked as an Assistant Manager for Rusty. Hisresponsibilities will include overseeing all sixty professional surf,skate, snow, wake, BMX and motocross athletes sponsored by Split. Inaddition, he will handle all grass roots, retail and nationalpromotions.
