Split Girl Hosts Learn To Ride Program

Split, the Southern California-based board sport clothing company, is pleased to announce its first “Learn to Ride” day. The “Learn to Ride” program is for girls only and consists of various sports including snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding, wakeboarding and even motocross.

The first snowboarding “Learn to Ride” will take place on March 25 at the Mountain High Resort in Wrightwood, CA (1 hr. east of Los Angeles and Orange County, CA) from 9AM to 4PM.

The event is open to all girls and costs $28.00 per person. The cost covers a full day of snowboard and boot rental, two hours of snowboard lessons, a commemorative Split Girl T-shirt, a chance to win a snowboard, boots and apparel. KROQ radio will provide the entertainment and sponsors including Vans and MXG will have booths to showcase theirlatest products.

“The ‘Learn to Ride’ program gives girls the opportunity to learn in a relaxed, fun environment. Many girls want to learn to snowboard, skateboard, surf, wakeboard and even ride motocross, but they donít have anyone willing to take the time to teach them,” says Mark Sperling, Director of Marketing at Split. “Split Girl not only wants to take the time to help girls learn these sports, we want them to enjoy the sports and do them again and again.”
