Sims Signs Chris Dufficy

Sims snowboards is pleased to announce that Chris Dufficy is now riding forthe Sims team. Chris stated “Being able to work with people and riders thatI’ve respected for a long time makes me feel like I’m moving on to somethingvery special. It gives me the room and confidence to do what I want, withthe backing that I need. I know that the team we have is going to bring thelevel of riding to a higher standard within and outside of the snowboardindustry. It’s basically what a snowboard company should be right down tothe basics. Friendship and business is separated when it needs to be andthat’s what makes a solid company. I am excited be part of the Simsprogram”.

Duff has been a strong presence in snowboarding for many years and is knownfor his smooth style, insane cliff drops and monster rails skills. “Duffcomes from one of the most talented snowboard teams ever and he brings ahuge international presence to our team. He has one of the bestpersonalities and is just one of the riders we are adding to the 2004-2005program” says Sims Director of Marketing Travis Wood. Duff will also beendorsing the new Protocol series along newly acquired John Jackson andIikka Backstrom. Chris lives in Vancouver BC and plans to film for the newWild Cats movie for the 2004 season along side his best friend Devun Walsh.
