Sessions Announces New Team Members

Sessions Announces New Team Members

Sessions is proud to announce our 2000/01 Team Roster with numerous hard-hitters like Tara Dakides, Shane McConkey, and Scott Bourne with a host of up-and-coming pros and amateurs!

New for 2000/01 is Lael Gregory from Rhododendron Oregon who just came off a successful season of competition and editorial coverage. Lael won 10,000 dollars at this year’s Sims Invitational for best trick stomping a b/s 900 in the halfpipe. Look for Matt Hammer to be making an impact this year! This young gun from southern California has been living in Mammoth Lakes and filming for Mack Dawg’s new film Amp, in stores this fall.

Also hitting it hard last year was Line Oestvold from Norway. Line won numerous titles and BoarderCross competitions last year and if she didn’t win, you know that she gave the winner a run for their money!

What about Tara Dakides you say? Well, Tara has been spending the summer trying to catch up with her schedule but it seems she is in such high demand that she hasn’t gotten a minute for herself! Tara has just come off of the winning-est season ever for any female pro snowboarder, taking all sorts of titles and contests including double wins at the X-Games! Also look for Tara stomping b/s Rodeo 540s in Amp from MDP.

On our skate program is our newest member to the Sessions family, Scott Bourne. Scott has been traveling the states and in Europe this summer with Sessions Pro Ryan Wilburn, having fun getting the full experience of pro skateboarding. Look for Scott, Ryan, Charlie Wilkins, and JR Neves in our new campaigns in Thrasher, Slap, Transworld Skateboarding, and Skate Business.

Hot new amateur Corey Ryan just relocated to Southern California from Santa Cruz. Corey has spent the last few years skating CASL (California Amateur Skateboard League) and dominating his age group. Look for Corey to make an impact in the media soon!

On our ski program you’ll find fresh faces Vincent Dorion and veterans like Shane McConkey who are both making a huge impact internationally. Look for both of these guys and JT Holmes in MSP’s new film this fall!
