Sun Valley, ID, July 21, 2004 -- SCOTT USA announces Gabe Glosband as its new wintersport marketing director to lead marketing efforts for the company’s goggle, ski pole, glove, outerwear and accessory lines. He will oversee Scott USA’s wintersport marketing, advertising and public relations. Gabe officially joined Scott USA on June 7, 2004.
“As the new wintersport marketing director at Scott USA, Gabe brings exciting opportunities for our brand with his experience at Ski Utah and his knowledge of the industry, said Larry Morton, vice president of Scott USA’s wintersport division.
Glosband has been an active member of the wintersports industry for more than eight years. Most recently, he served as the sports director of the Utah Winter Games, a grassroots effort charged with introducing more than 10,000 participants to wintersport clinics and events. Previously he led all partnership marketing programs for Ski Utah. He accumulated significant industry experience working in several marketing and event capacities for the American Skiing Company at both Sugarloaf/USA and The Canyons Resort, where he served as the director of events and merchandising. Glosband recently relocated from Park City, UT to Sun Valley, ID.
