Premier To Have New Internal Focus
Portland, Ore., March 8, 2002 ¿ In an effort to put more focus on their global business, Premier, Chorus and M3 have promoted current Sales Operations Manager Brian Guzman to International Sales Manager. Brian has been with the brands for three years and comes with extensive sales/customer service experience. Currently these three brands have distribution in 24 countries.
“With focus on global growth, having a company veteran developing our international business makes perfect sense,” said VP of Sales, Mark McCorkle.
In addition to this new global role, Guzman will oversee in-house sales management for Premier Snowskates. The entry into the market of this new snow category has created a new sales market. That potential is what led the company to see the need to have someone from within oversee the sales growth of the Premier brand.
“I am very excited to be working with Brian. He will be adding to the strength of the Premier team with his attention to detail and excellent sales focus,” said Brand Manager, Andy Wolf.Premier, the original snowskate manufacturer, launched in 1999.
A snowskate, a board that is slightly wider and longer than a skateboard, is made of plastic with a channeled base for stability and tracking and a foam topsheet for grip. Snowskates combines the design, physics and feeling of skateboarding and snowboarding and are for use on snow-covered sled hills and golf courses, snowskate parks, or even right in the backyard. Premier Snowskates are currently available in specialty snow/skate shops worldwide and in select mail-order catalogs.
Chorus, the first snowboard brand developed exclusively for women and supported by a professional female team, is built with women in mind, offering customized flex and shape with a strong focus on freestyle performance. Chorus currently offers snowboards in five lengths — 142cm to 157cm — and debuted in select specialty snowboard shops worldwide in September 2001.
M3 has produced and marketed premium snowboards since 1998. All M3 boards are designed with input from its team riders and are proudly manufactured at its own factory in the USA. Every M3 snowboard comes with an incredible two-year warranty. M3 snowboards will be available beginning in September at the finest specialty snowboarding and skateboarding shops around the world.
