New Bear Mountain Web Site Launches


Big Bear Lake, Calif., Saturday October 11, 2003 — The countdown is on, Bear Mountain’s brand-new website is set to launch on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at Midnight. This new interactive site has been designed to bring the sceneat Bear Mountain into the homes of snowboarders and skiers across SouthernCalifornia and the world. Daily action photos, weekly video clips, livecams, the BS forum, live weather and current news will help to bring BearMountain to life on the internet.

The success of last season has prompted management to take the next step and thus Bear Mountain is proud to introduce, “THE PARK,” the only mountainresort in the world devoted almost entirely to freestyle terrain,incorporating over 117 jumps, 57 jibs and 2 pipes on 195 acres at the heightof the season.

The new Bear Mountain website features several daily updated report sections intended to keep riders on top of what’s going on at The Park. The new Jib Menu allows riders to check out exactly what rails, boxes and walls areavailable on the mountain including descriptions and dimensions. The ParkReport keeps riders updated on park layout, jib and jump counts, Superpipecutting and all of the latest improvements and alterations on the mountain.The Ridge Report provides information about the West Wing of The Park foundat Snow Summit including updates on Westridge terrain park, Ego Trip funpark, the Zzyzx Halfpipe and the family fun parks.

Weather reports, snowmaking information, snow conditions, road conditions, run reports and lift reports are also available and updated daily. The site providesinformation on Bear Mountain’s unique learning programs, season passes andlift ticket & rental rates.
