McIlvain Named Oakley Sports Marketing Director

Oakley is extremely pleased to announce the promotion of Pat McIlvain to the position of Sports Marketing Director. In his new position he will be responsible for overseeing Oakley’s global sports marketing direction, including sport-specific strategies, athlete endorsements and event sponsorships.

During the last 9 years at Oakley he has held various positions including Sports Marketing Manager to most recently, Assistant Director, where he was responsible for overseeing our success in the categories of snow ski, mountain bike, road cycling and outdoor sports. Prior to coming onboard with Oakley, Pat was a top ranked professional mountain bike racer and accomplished snow skier. Pat also served as Director of Operations for a Colorado based sports marketing firm, responsible for the promotion and running of such events as the World Pro Mogul Tour, Rocky Mountain Snowboard Series, Mountain Man Winter Triathlon and Mountain bike Biathlon Series.
