Kawasaki Sponsors Triple Air Contest At Mountain High

Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., in conjunction with Mountain High Resort, is excited to announce its title sponsorship of the KAWASAKI $25,000 PRO/AM TRIPLE AIR THREAT CONTEST.

Vince Iorio, Marketing Manager of the ATV/Utility Vehicle Division of Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., announced that Kawasaki is expanding its entry into the extreme sports community with its sponsorship of the event, which is scheduled for January 11, 2003, at the Mountain High Resort in Wrightwood, California.

The one-day event offers a $15,000 cash purse, plus a new KFX400 Sport ATV, which will be awarded for best trick by a pro, and a week’s vacation at the Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu, Hawaii .The total value of the contest is $25,000, which also includes $5000 in prizes to the competitors and the one week vacation at the Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu, Hawaii.

The triple jump will be designed and built by Mountain High’s Terrain Park designers and builders, Shane Smart and Keith Pfahler. The Technical Director for the event is Jeff Grell, of Snowsurfing International.
