K2 Wins TransWorld Team Challenge

K2 Snowboarding’s Pro Team Rises to the Top

The K2 pro team won the 2001 Transworld team challenge at Snow Summit last week. Representing K2 were Chris Engelsman, Bobby Meeks, and new comer Eddie Wall with Travis Parker as an alternate. The format was a slopestyle course, with the judges being the riders themselves. Riders from other teams like Morrow and Supernatural voted K2 #1, and also gave Eddie Wall the Best Jib award for his cab 450 to frontside boardslide on the kinked rail.

In other team news, Katrina Voutilainen has been consistent from contest to contest. She recently placed 4th in Big Air at the Vans Triple Crown at Snow Summit. Watch for her to continue to rule it in upcoming events. K2 Snowboarding congratulates their entire pro team on their success.
