Gravis is extremely proud to announce that it has added two of today’s top up-and-coming snowboarders, JP Solberg and Torah Bright, tothe snowboarding sect of its global Development Team comprised of pro athletes (snowboarders, skaters, and surfers), artists and musicians.

A driving force within the company since day one, Gravis Development Team is constantly on the move, traveling to some of the most obscure spots theglobe has to offer. Their feedback about what works and what does not workin a shoe or bag is invaluable, because they are all out there, puttingGravis diverse product offering to the ultimate test each day. Hailing from “The Gateway to the Fjords,” Bergen’s own Jan Petter “JP”Solberg is arguably one of Norway’s greatest exports since Terje Haakonsen.At only 18 years of age, JP is a very progressive and powerful rider whopossesses a charismatic personality and loads of natural talent. Explodingonto the snowboarding scene from virtually out of nowhere, he drawsinspiration from his family and friends. JP is a carefree comedian at heart,and is extremely psyched to be traveling the world as a professionalsnowboarder: he is truly living his dream. At only 15 years of age, Australia’s Torah Bright charged onto the globalsnowboarding scene this past season, and she quickly made her presence feltby tearing up the women’s competitive circuit, frequently placing above manyof the sport’s best. Torah’s newfound success is a testament to the factthat she is much more than just a pretty face, as her fine-tuned skills,deep bag of tricks, and passion for the sport definitely make her one towatch out for in the years to come. Splitting time between the Land DownUnder and Mammoth Mountain, CA, Torah is a very talented rider who not onlyexudes an intelligent, down-to-earth persona, but also hopes to one-dayrepresent Australia in the Winter Olympic Games.
