Check out all the Action from the Park Shoot in Italy

I had seen photos of the Nine Knights park setups from previous years, so I knew it was going to be a crazy structure. But when we sat on the chairlift last Monday and got a first look at this year's setup for the event in Livigno, I was completely blown away. What the Schneestern shape crew put together must be the craziest park setup that has ever been built. The features were not only huge and perfect, but every corner and edge was chiseled to the inch and nicely manicured. When you were standing there looking at the features, it was hard to believe it’s even possible to cut this stuff out of snow.
The field of riders was just as impressive with most of the current freestyle elite on the spot, and so it´s no surprise that the week turned out to be one for the books. The riding highlights were Sven Torgren´s Frontside 1440 and Peetu Piiroinen´s 30 foot Backside Tailgrab on the hip, but the beautiful weather, sunset shoots, barbecues and epic Livigno parties made their impression as well. I can´t wait to come back next year and see what rabbit the shape crew will pull out of their hat for 2016.
