Four Star Distribuiton To Skip SIA

SAN CLEMENTE, CA- Four Star Distribution announced plans today to not takepart in the upcoming Snowsports Industries America tradeshow in Las Vegasand to pursue their own path.

“We’re deciding not to follow the current, unsettled snowboard sellingcycle, we have analyzed the way our dealers, reps and distributors are doingbusiness, and we strongly feel that this is the best decision for us andthem, said Four Star Distribution’s Director of Marketing Dan McNamara.”This gives us the opportunity to invest and get more involved where itmatters most – in our territories nationwide, not in the middle of thedesert.

Plans for the upcoming season include increased support of nationwide repshowrooms as well as strengthening their presence at regional tradeshows,on-snow demos, and consumer events.

McNamara adds, “We want to make seeing, riding, and buying our brands aseasy as possible, and this is the way to do just that. Also, from initiatingthe Forum Youngblood Contest Series as an outlet for upcoming riders, tobecoming more involved with regional shows and events, we are now genuinelyfocused on supporting and growing the local scenes. Retailers to resorts, those are the places where the progression of snowboarding begins and wewant to help push it as far as it can go.
