Forum Youngblood Hits Big Bear March 22

On Saturday, March 22, 2003, twenty-five finalists from the regional Forum Youngblood contests held throughout North America will descend on a custom-made slopestyle course at Southern California1s Big Bear Mountain Resort, with hopes of becoming the overall Forum YoungBlood Contest Series champion.

As winners of the regional contests, these finalists have each earned an all expenses paid trip to the contest series final.  Once there, they will battle for a Forum Youngblood incentives contract, a Video Gangs DVD appearance, a summer snowboarding session at Mt. Hood courtesy of High Cascade Snowboard Camp, a prize package filled with 2004 Forum Youngblood gear, and garments and accessories from a multitude of accompanying contest sponsors.

The action begins promptly at 10 AM.  Each competitor will get three runs, and the ten highest scorers will qualify for the hour-long jam session final at 3 PM, where the overall champion will be decided.  With a judging squad of industry insiders and Forum Global Team members, and a slopestyle course constructed by the award-winning Chris Gunnarson1s Snow Park Technologies, it will surely be an eventful final.

The event is open to the public, so everyone is encouraged to attend and witness the future of snowboarding – the Youngbloods.

Following the awards ceremony at the Big Bear base lodge, a contest celebration/after-party will kick off, with DJs, food, beverages, and giveaways.
