Dragon Hosts DDT Challenge In Japan

Carlsbad, California—Dragon held the 5th annual Dragon Dynamite Team (DDT) Challenge in Okutadami, Niigata Japan (http://www.okutadami.co.jp/). Held in one of the oldest resorts in Japan, the event was a one-day, open to the public, amateur challenge on Saturday the 8th of April.

The contest drew the maximum entries and sold out quickly to 40 teams of three. The challenge was held in two parts; first, a series of four jibs and second, a series of jumps. 120 competitors spent the day in heavy snow fall doing their best to win the grand prize of Signal snowboards, Dragon goggles and lots of goodies. The contest was won over all by team R.Y.M. Freeks, and a special award was given to Kozure Ookami for outstanding performance.
