DC Shoes Hires Footwear Design Director

Vista, CA . . . DC Shoes, Inc. announced today it has hired Wei-En Chang as the company’s footwear design director. In his new position, Wei-En is responsible for the overall vision and design direction for men’s, women’s, and children’s footwear.

Wei-En designed shoes, snowboard boots, accessories, and packaging for DC Shoes from 1997 to 2001 before leaving to co-found Clae and design for Lakai. Prior to that, he was the art director for Slap Skateboard Magazine from 1994-97.

“I’m excited to be back,” said Wei-En. “DC’s momentum is strong, and I’m committed to helping make it even stronger. The design team is very talented, so I’m looking forward to doing rewarding work while making sure sales gets what they need.”
