KEYNOTE – Jeff Potter, President & CEO, Frontier AirlinesJeff Potter is Frontier Airlines’ president and chief executive officer at the airline’s headquarters in Denver, Colo. Potter oversees all operational and strategic planning efforts of the airline. He is also a member of the Frontier Airlines’ Board of Directors. Potter originally joined Denver-based Frontier Airlines as vice president of marketing in 1995. For five years, he oversaw all aspects of the airline’s pricing, scheduling, planning, revenue management, sales, distribution and branding efforts. During his tenure, Frontier’s revenues grew from $26.0 million during fiscal year 1996 to $329.8 million for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2000 and the airline’s fleet grew from five to 23 Boeing 737 aircraft. In addition, during Potter’s first five years with Frontier, the airline’s network of destinations grew from eight small communities in 1995 to 21 major metropolitan cities from its Denver hub. Today, Frontier’s fleet has grown to 39 aircraft, including the new Airbus A318 and A319 aircraft and its service network now reaches 40 destinations across the United States and Mexico. Its fiscal revenues this year are expected to surpass $600 million and the company now employs over 3,700 travel professionals.

Todd Cunningham, Senior Vice President, Brand Strategy & Planning, for MTV: Music Television

As one of Brandweek Magazine’s Marketers of the Year for 2003, Todd Cunningham is responsible for leading the MTV global entertainment research and brand development teams in pursuit of business-building opportunities for the core MTV brand and its extensions of MTV2,, MTV Films, Programming Enterprises’ Branded Consumer Products Division, MTV International and the newest member, College Television Network.

Jack Wienert, Executive Director, ESPN Original Entertainment Events

Jack Wienert oversees all X Games-related properties (ESPN Original Entertainment Events) including X Games, Winter X Games, X Games Global Championship, International X Games (Asia and Latin America). Jack supervises an event team focused on staging, marketing and organizing the competitions for athletes and spectators. He works closely with local officials and all departments at ESPN, including remote production to maximize the event’s success. Jack joined ESPN in 1994 and has served as executive director for the X Games events and Great Outdoor Games, beginning with the inaugural X Games (then called Extreme Games) event held in 1995.

John Temple, President, Publisher & Editor, Rocky Mountain News

John Temple is in his sixth year as editor of Colorado’s oldest daily newspaper the Rocky Mountain News. He has lead his paper to its first two Pulitzer Prizes wins and numerous other awards for journalistic excellence. John oversees the editorial operations of the Rocky Mountain News and serves as its top executive and chief liaison with the Denver Newspaper Agency. The News, owned by the E.W. Scripps Co. Scripps, is an equal partner in the Denver Newspaper Agency, which was created by Scripps and MediaNews Group, owner of The Denver Post, to manage the merged business and production operations of the two newspapers.
