Chorus Launches Apparel Collection

(Tustin, CA) Chorus, manufacturer of progressive, innovative snowboards, surfboards and skateboards designed specifically for women is launching a new apparel collection to debut for Spring / Summer 2005.

The premier collection will include knit tops and bottoms, shorts, long and short-sleeve tees, hoodies and pullover sweatshirts and beanies, as well as a full accessory line of bags, hats and belts. Accessories and bags will be shown along with Chorus surfboards and skateboards at the upcoming Action Girl Show, August 19-21 in Long Beach, California.

In keeping with the company’s motto of team-driven and athlete-designed products for women, the Chorus pro team was instrumental in working on the designs with a female designer. All artwork included on the apparel is also designed by women.

“Since it’s birth, there has always been demand and support for Chorus apparel,” says Jim Alfaro, Chorus Brand Manager. “We’ve listened to what dealers tell us active women want and combined that with input from our pro riders to come up with an exceptional line of unique clothing. We think girls will be stoked!”

Colorways and design elements were carefully chosen with female athletes and fashion trends in mind. The original Chorus logo is showcased on nearly each piece, designed to reinforce the popular image in the market. The line will be sold through independent and specialty stores nationwide in Spring / Summer 2005.

Founded in October 2000 by professional, female athletes, Chorus manufactured top quality snowboards for women only. Chorus was purchased by Motiv Sports, a specialty sporting goods company based in Southern California in 2003. Besides continuing to offer the Chorus snow brand, Motiv has developed Chorus skate and surf products to meet growing demand from dealers looking for superior products for active women.
