Chevy and Rossignol Team Up For Demo Tour

Rossignol, the world’s leader in snow sports equipment, and Chevy Trucks, America’s favorite truck, have joined forces to create an exciting Snowboard/ski Demo Tour that will be coming to resorts around the United States this winter.

Through the agreement, Chevy Trucks will become the Official Vehicle of the Rossignol Demo Tour. Consumers will see sleek, new black Chevy Suburbans, Tahoes, Astro AWD Vans, 4WD trucks, Blazers…all emblazoned with the new silver logos!

“This partnership makes perfect sense,” says Rossignol’s V.P. Racing & Promotions, Daniel Mornet. “Given Rossignol’s longstanding commitment to snowboarding and skiing, and to the athletes on US Ski Team, and Chevy Trucks’ continued support of the USST, we have great synergy in our approach to the sport.”

Synergies will include hosting a number of demos on-snow at Chevy- sponsored events such as World Cup races, Snowboard Grand Prix competitions, U.S. National Championships, and Freestyle World Cup events, as well as a variety of other co-promotions and possible advertising opportunities.

Mac Whisner, Chevy Trucks, National Advertising/Promotions Director, confirms Chevy’s commitment to participating in the lifestyles and activities of their customers. “We recognize that skiing and snowboarding represent an important segment of our customer base, especially in the 4WD market. Being present and participating in the activities that are important in the lives of our customers is important to us as a company.”

According to Hugh Harley, Rossignol’s President, “This is a great opportunity to give our field force a solid, unified image on-snow with superb looking vehicles that fit the image of our products and the workhorse’ reputation of our field force. Quality and durability are important factors when you put the kind of mileage in the mountains that our guys put on the vehicles day in, day out… Chevy Trucks has the product and the will to support marketing efforts that we believe to be critical to the growth of snowriding.”
