Board-Trac Reports Available

Trabuco Canyon, Calif. — November 25, 2003 — Board-Trac 2003 WaveRiding, Skateboarding and Snowboarding studies are being released with data compiled from thousands of active board sports participants on their hardgoods and softgoods brand preferences, shopping habits, core sport and cross-over sport participation, as well as influences on buying decisions.

Each report contains charts, data tables and narrative points illustrating the frequency of purchasing softgoods and hardgoods, amount spent, where they shop – stores, catalog or internet – how often they shop and influences that drive brand purchasing decisions. Results also include current board(s) owned by sport, number of boards owned by sport, which sport they first started with and coolest brands on the market. Favorite apparel brands are also included in the survey covering such items as T-shirts, board shorts, jeans, shoes, watches and sunglasses.

New this year are narrative analysis points that compare 2003 results with 2002 plus brand rankings are presented on one chart reflecting the responses from the total sample. Data tables are also included in each section of the reports for more detailed information on results by gender and age.

Each of the Board-Trac ‘vertical’ reports is now available for $1,500.
