Billabong Hires New Snow Product Manager

Irvine, CA – October 22, 2002 – Billabong announces new outerwear designer and snow product manager Pat Field.

In his new role Pat will design and manage Billabong’s snow division to include outerwear and accessories ranging from bags to beanies.

“We are excited to have Pat on board as we take our snow division to a new level,” said Mark Machado Vice President Design.

Pat, a New Jersey native, but calls Utah home, comes to this position with extensive fashion, design and snowboard industry experience. Prior to coming to Billabong, Pat was a designer for Beta Project (a high-end denim company based in San Francisco, CA) where he specialized in accessory and bag design.

In addition Pat was a designer for Ride Snowboards, Vashon Island, WA, where he designed t-shirts, sweatshirts, accessories and bags and was responsible for color and aesthetics for the boot and bag line, team bio cards, team specialty jerseys, multi-media banner ads and point of purchase displays. Field also represented Sims Snowboards as a customer service representative and regional team manager.
