APX Project Debuts Kevin Jones Pro Model

Montebelluna, Italy, January 14th, 2002 — What do Kevin Jones, Mikey LeBlanc, Andrew Crawford all have in common? They are all representing APX Snowboard Boots in 2002. Using Piva Srl, the makers of Northwave and its 30 years of footwear manufacturing experience, APX Snowboard Boots will debut in Vegas from the depths of Montebelluna Italy this year.

“I’m super excited to be part of this new company.” Says APX Team rider Andrew Crawford. “Our team kicks ass, and so does the product. We’re gonna unleash the fury and take the world by storm.”

APX is pushing snowboard boot technology to new levels with unique materials and features like thermoformed double lasted construction, hand sewn injected liners and the Boa System. Working in conjunction with Drake Bindings, APX is poised to set new standards in boot performance similar to the way Drake did for bindings. One of the highlights of the collection is the Kevin Jones Pro Model. Inspired by KJ’s love for metal, the Kevin Jones Pro Model will raise the bar in professionally endorsed footwear. The 2002/2003 model integrates APX’s double lasted technology with Kevin’s styling for a completely new look. The 2002/2003 APX Project Collection will debut at SIA (January 29th-February 2nd) ISPO (February 2nd-5th) and SBJ (February 18th-22nd)
