January 20, 2003- Los Angeles, CA.- 686 will be showcasing their new project for the 03-04 winter collection, the Artist Collaboration Effort (A.C.E), at this year’s SIA tradeshow.

The Artist Collaboration Effort (A.C.E) will include works by Shepard Fairey (OBEY),Andy Jenkins (GIRL), Scott Herskovitz (COMPOUND), Wes Humpston (DOGTOWN), and Patricia Lee (BUNNIES). These artists have specially designed the inner lining pieces found only in the 686 Southline jacket collection. “The goal of A.C.E is to bring together a group of artists with different views and visual interests, which in turn will hopefully bring awareness, thought and education to those who would have never known.”

Later this year 686 will be hosting an art exhibit in Los Angeles displaying all the A.C.E pieces accompanied by their creators; please stay tuned for more details.
