It's Thursday, and our heads are still spinning from watching others spinning. Well, that and the fact that green caffeine at altitude is a potent combination. The 2017 Dew Tour in Breckenridge was a marathon of a week that flew by at a sprinter's pace.
Between practice, qualifiers, and finals last week, Mike Yoshida was there to capture it all. TransWorld SNOWboarding's 19th annual Riders' Poll went down Friday to a standing-room-only crowd of over 1,000, which seemingly rolled directly into Saturday morning's slopestyle finals. Sunday saw the top teams in snowboarding take to three disciplines--modified superpipe, jump, and jib--in the second iteration of an event format not seen before.
Especially with Dew Tour's addition of the team event and Riders' Poll taking place on the same weekend, what's noticeable about the event, is its capacity to bring together a swath of snowboarders to celebrate winter's kickoff. Check out the above gallery and relive the whirlwind with us!
