Backyard/behind your apartment—same thing. Congratulations to Max Pintal, winner of the first Your Turn Photo Contest of 2011.

Backyard/behind the apartment—same thing. Congrats to Max Pintal, winner of the 1st Your Turn Photo Contest of 2011

The photos have been been collected, the pics have been judged, and the results are finally in. The first TransWorld SNOWboarding Your Turn Photo Contest in 2011, “Backyard Boardin”, goes to Max Pintal, for his photo of Didier Gogbout’s apartment complex miller flip.

Says Max, “Didier Godbout [is] one of the newest DC Canada team riders. [He’s] nice to shoot, because he’s always super motivated and has so much energy. We found that spot just in front of my new appartment in Valleyfield, Québec. The basic plan was to do a wallride, but Didier decided that it would be gnarlier to do a miller flip over the parking sign. It turned out really good!”

Max wins a photo prize pack, including a Burton Snowboard photo pack and Celtek photo mittens, as well as being entered into the final drawing for the grand prize: a trip to High Cascade Photo Camp this summer!
