This year's Superpipe course has been reinvented, offering a variety of freestyle elements, creating a longer, more diverse competition.  The Slopestyle course is broken into two sections, Jibs and Jumps. View course preview graphics here.

Here's who to watch at Dew Tour:

Men's & Women's Ski Modified Superpipe

The defending 2017 champion and Aspen, Colo. native Alex Ferreira (USA) will work to stay on top of the Dew Tour podium but Torin Yater-Wallace (USA), Pyeongchang gold medalist David Wise (USA) and Kevin Rolland (FRA) could easily take the helm.  Reigning Olympic and Dew Tour champion in women's ski halfpipe Cassie Sharpe (CAN) will be the skier to watch. The return of 15-year old Kelly Sildaru (EST) who was injured all last season, and Maddie Bowman (USA) are also strong contenders for the podium.

Men's & Women's Ski Slopestyle

Henrik Harlaut (SWE) will be working for a three-peat at Dew Tour this year, but Oystein Braaten (NOR), the 2017 Dew Tour bronze medalist and Pyeongchang gold medalist is at the top of his game. Also keep watch for Gus Kenworthy (USA) and McRae Williams (USA), both strong slopestyle innovators. Hailing from a land with no real mountains, Sildaru is already a skiing phenom, yet was sidelined last season due to a knee injury. She is poised and the one to beat in slopestyle. Also strong in the slopestyle: last year's Dew Tour silver medalist Tess Ledeux (FRA) and Maggie Voisin (USA).

Men's & Women's Snowboard Modified Superpipe

After a dynamic 2017 Dew Tour Superpipe event, Colorado native Jake Pates looks to defend his title in the pipe. Returning from the Pyeongchang podium will be silver medalist Ayumu Hirano (JPN) and bronze medalist Scotty James (AUS) who are looking to take top spot in Breckenridge. Expect the women's pipe to be lively with the return of the dynamic 2017 Dew Tour and Pyeongchang champion Chloe Kim (USA). Local favorite and 2018 bronze medalist Arielle Gold (USA) will also look to up her 2017 Dew Tour bronze result. Also look for Pyeongchang silver medalist Jiayu Liu (CHN) to continue her streak of progressive riding.

Men's & Women's Snowboard Slopestyle

Max Parrot (CAN) will be defending his title against a strong field of athletes. His fellow Canadians and Pyeongchang medalists Mark McMorris (silver, slopestyle) and Sebastian Toutant (gold, big air) are up for the challenge, as are U.S. athletes 2017 Dew Tour silver medalist Chris Corning and Pyeongchang gold medalist Red Gerard. On the women's side, Spencer O'Brien (CAN) will battle to defend her title, competing alongside Pyeongchang medalists Jamie Anderson (USA, gold) and Enni Rukajärvi (FIN, bronze). Julia Marino (USA), who has been riding strong in the past year, should also prove to be a strong opponent.

Men's & Women's Adaptive Banked Snowboard

Dew Tour gold medalists Evan Strong (USA, lower limb 2) and Noah Elliott (USA, lower limb 1) will return after also taking home medals in the Pyeongchang Paralympics in Snowboardcross (silver and gold, respectively). On the women's side, Brenna Huckaby (USA, lower limb 1) will look to defend her title from last year. Look for Pyeongchang Paralympians Amy Purdy (USA, lower limb 1) and Brittani Couri (USA, lower limb 2) who will be aiming for their top podium spots.

Team Challenge

The Team Challenge features the industry's top brands, legend captains and a team of athletes who will compete in Jib, Jumps and Modified Superpipe. Combined athlete scores will determine a team winner. Each team will have a captain and three athletes: one each for the Jib, Jump and Modified Superpipe sections. The 2017 champions Rome (snowboard) and Volkl (ski) will work to defend their titles in this year's event.  Burton, Salomon, Nitro, DC and Capita will represent the additional five snowboard teams; along with additional ski teams Faction, Armada, Head, Atomic and K2. New videos introducing this year's ski and snowboard teams are arriving daily on DewTour.com and Dew Tour's social media channels.

Streetstyle

Dew Tour's signature after-hours Streetstyle competition will return to downtown Breckenridge where the world's best urban skiers and snowboarders are showcased under the lights in an open jam format. Will Darcy Sharpe (CAN) take back his gold this year, after ending his four-peat streak last winter? Brandon Davis (USA) and Kyle Mack (USA) will also be ones to watch the snowboarding competition. Maine's own Keegan Kilbride (USA) took home the winning spot in the Ski competition last year. But look out for 2016 Dew Tour champion Alex Bellemare (USA) and Vermonter John "LJ" Strenio (USA) who placed second in last year's event. Additionally, for the first time, a G.W.R. Girls Amateur ski and snowboard Streetstyle competition, presented by Nikita, will make its Dew Tour debut.  The Streetyle course will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday after Friday's competition.
