Whistler Blackcomb Introduces BusRide Program

Whistler, B.C., December 3, 2003 – Whistler Blackcomb Introduces BusRide Program In cooperationwith Gray Line of Vancouver, the resort is introducing the ‘WhistlerBlackcomb BusRide.’ Available to teens age 13 to 18, the BusRide includes a10-time ski/snowboard pass and a weekly chaperoned bus ride to WhistlerBlackcomb. All for only $399 plus tax.

“We realized that one of the major barriers for Vancouver youth who want toget up to Whistler Blackcomb is transportation,” said Stuart Rempel,Whistler Blackcomb Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We’reintroducing the BusRide so that young people can get here easily and at areasonable price.”

The Gray Line bus will stop in Kerrisdale, Downtown, and on the North Shore,and will return to the same spots at the end of the day. Only BusRidepassholders will be allowed on the designated Gray Line busses, and twoadults will chaperone each bus trip. The bus will run on the followingSaturdays: January 10, 17, 24, February 7, 14, 28, and March 6, 13, 20, 27.Lesson and equipment products are available as add-ons to the BusRide.
