Los Angeles, CA – October 21, 2004 — Utopia® Optics International, Inc. is proud to announce that Chris Brown, aka “Browner, has signed on for two years.
Whistler, BC Canada is known for producing many of the world’s leading snowboarders and was voted the #1 snowboarding resort in the world by TransWorld SNOWboarding. Browner is one of the leading talents to come out of Whistler. Whether he’s hitting a backcountry kicker or spinning through the park, Browner’s style definitely shows he’s a Whistler local.
Chris spent most of the 03/04 season filming for the movie Positron. Chris’ riding is also showcased in films by Mack Dawg Productions. Chris’ on-screen presence doesn’t stop here. In the up-coming season, Chris will begin shooting around the globe with Volcom. Look out for Chris sporting Utopia® goggles and sunglasses in your favorite snow flick, at plenty of photo shoots, and at events in the 04/05 season.

Chris Brown will be joining Shaun Palmer on Utopia’s® International snowboard team. “I’m stoked to be on with The “U. While they don’t have a big presence in the snow world yet, anyone that has Palmer on their team knows what’s up. The new goggles are dope and I’m ready for a sick season,”
