Offering skiers and riders access to some of the best early season conditions in Lake Tahoe, Northstar California Resort will open Friday, November 18 with snow depths of 18-24 inches and access to 40 acres of terrain featuring seven beginner and intermediate trails, as well as terrain park features.

"We look forward to welcoming skiers and riders back to Northstar for the winter season, starting this Friday," said Bill Rock, chief operating officer at Northstar California Resort. "Our snowmaking efforts have been extremely successful so far this season, and we will offer some of the best early season snow conditions around the lake. And, to keep the momentum going, it looks like Mother Nature will lend us a hand with the possibility of snow over the weekend."

The resort will kick off the season with The Big Springs Express Gondola, Highlands Gondola, Arrow Express, Vista Express and The Big Easy quad chairlifts operating daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. A variety of terrain park features including boxes, rails and jumps will be set up for freestyle enthusiasts to enjoy, and early season lift tickets will be available for $69 for adults, $52 for teens (age 13-18) and seniors (age 65+), and $41 for children (age 5-12; under five ski for free).
