Mount Snow To Host Kelly Clark Camp

Mount Snow, Vermont (February 25, 2003) – Mount Snow will play host to 2002 Olympic Gold Medalist Kelly Clark?s snowboard camp.  Recognized by her peers and media as one of the most influential females in sports and winner of the 2002 X-Games Halfpipe Gold, both Halfpipe and Quarterpipe competitions at last year?s US Open, 2002 ESPY ?Action Sport Athlete of the Year? recipient and 2002 Action Sports Awards ?Female Rider of the Year?, Kelly will return to Mount Snow from March 19-21, 2003 with other top riders and snowboard coaches for this unique snowboarding opportunity.

This is an exclusive opportunity to join Clark at her home mountain along with a crew of other top riders for a 3-day no-holds-barred training session in halfpipe; terrain park and rail slide disciplines. Intermediate and advanced riders are invited to join today?s top competitors for this unique March event.

At 19, Clark has established herself as a leader in the women?s snowboarding arena. This year Kelly has planned a more diverse competition schedule and has her sights set on expanding into freeriding and filming. Competitively, Clark will defend her US Open title, and will take part as one of two US women in the Global X Championship. Clark will also attend a number of major Burton sponsored events and a number of Slopestyles, Quarterpipes, and Rail Jams. She has set her riding goals high and along with having fun, she will continue to push the standards of women’s riding.
