Mammoth Season To End June 6th

Mammoth Mountain, CA – After an incredible season with 182 days of skiingand riding, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area will close winter operations afterSunday, June 6.

Once again, Mammoth Mountain enjoyed one of the longest ski seasons in theUnited States, staying open from November 6, 2003 to June 6, 2004. Duringthe 2003/2004 winter season, Mammoth received over 435 inches of snow, themost in the last five years. Heavy snowfall in December dumped over 12 feetof snow of Mammoth.

Through June 6, Mammoth will have four lifts open (Broadway Express,Facelift and the Lower and Upper Panorama Gondola) providing access top tobottom at the Main Lodge. The base depth is currently 1-5 feet of machinegroomed and spring snow.

After a short break in the action, Mammoth will re-open for summeractivities. The Mountain Bike Park and Adventure Center will begin summeroperations on Friday, June 25.
