Klug Holds Freeride and Race Camp On Aspen Mountain

Chris Klug and his team of world-class snowboard racers and coaches will conductthe camp April 9-14, 2001 on Aspen Mountain!

Aspen/Snowmass Village, Colo. – Chris Klug, 1998 Olympic Team member and2000 Giant Slalom National Champion, will hold the Burton-Klug Freeride andRace Camp in Aspen, April 9-14, 2001. Klug has had excellent results thisyear, winning a World Cup event in Italy and taking a second place and athird place finish in World Cup races in Japan. For the first time ever,the camp will be held on Aspen Mountain to coincide with Aspen’s first ever180 Aspen Spring Jam and the opening of Aspen Mountain to snowboarding.

The camp is designed for intermediate and above snowboarders who want totake the next step in their overall riding ability or experience theexcitement of racing. Limited to 100 participants, the three- and five-daycamps will include on-snow freeride and gate training; video analysis;Burton demo equipment; evening receptions and events and more.

Klug will be joined by colleagues Rosey Fletcher (1998 Olympian and WorldChampion), Ian Price (1997 & 1998 super G champion); Travis McLain (2000X-Games Ultra-Cross Champion) and Ben Hall (junior world champion coach andhead coach Aspen Valley Ski Club).
