Los Angeles, CA, June 20th, 2018: In 2012, Travis Rice took his first trip with STOKED to Snow Summit in Big Bear, CA. STOKED is a non-profit organization that empowers underserved youth to reach their fullest potential, instilling passion, resilience, and determination through mentorship and action sports culture. For the day, Travis gave his time as a snowboarding mentor to the group of students from Los Angeles; many of which had never even seen snow before joining STOKED.

Ever since that day, Travis has been a STOKED Igniter. As part of this community of individuals who donate directly to support a young person in STOKED on a regular basis, Travis has been able to ensure more kids get to experience the thrill of snowboarding.

"I became a STOKED Igniter because I had an incredible experience being a snow mentor a few years back going up to Big Bear riding for a day getting to meet these kids that come from all different walks of life and seeing how fired up they were. I just know a bit about STOKED, but I know enough about to see incredible value in propping up these incredibly talented kids that just need a little push in the right direction. I really believe in the project I want to see it continue to thrive." Travis says.

For $10/month, you can support a kid for an entire snowboarding season. During the 2017-18 season, STOKED provided 200 snowboarding experiences to students in Los Angeles. You can join Travis and the rest of the community of STOKED Igniters at www.stokedigniters.com. The donor campaign runs until June 25th.
