The snow in Mammoth has been absolutely relentless over the last 24 hours. Over four feet, 56″, fell on the summit of Mammoth Mountain, with totals around three feet reported at lower elevations. And as of Friday evening,  it’s still coming down, with more in the forecast.

Storm Highlights:

  • 56″ of snow in the past 24 hours at Mammoth Mountain
  • Current base depth: 54-132″
  • All lifts and all runs will be opening as soon as crews are able to get them ready
  • June Mountain, Mammoth’s sister resort, opened today and reported 1-3′ of snow from the system.
